　　永恒之花 （十四行诗）

　　Fair amaranth, what colour dost thou bloom?
　　What shape unfolds thy heavenly flowers?
　　None has seen where thy graceful form towers,
　　Still your legend in million hearts dost loom.

　　Poets praise with love thy undying beauty;
　　Alchemists seek thy sweet blood with fervour.
　　Who knows if thou liv’st now, if thou liv’st ever?
　　Still thy name rings of immortality.

　　Like the immortal bloom thou art to me,
　　Thy resonating light shall never fade.
　　Thy being of incorrupt’ble virtues made,
　　Of courage, wisdom, and fidelity.

　　From dream world far away thou art may be,
　　Thy light shines still ‘midst grey reality.

　　传说中的永恒之花啊，你究竟什么颜色？
　　你的花朵展开什么形状？
　　从未有人看见过你优雅的身姿，
　　你的传说却仍然在千万心中回响。

　　诗人偏爱你不死的容颜，
　　术士赞美你神赐的花果。
　　你究竟是否曾在人间绽开？
　　你的名字是永生的传说。

　　战士啊，在我心中你便是那永恒之花，
　　你身周的光芒永不会暗淡。
　　你是人间不可泯灭的高尚，
　　你是仁爱，智慧，勇气，在天地间回荡。

　　遥远的梦境里永恒之花盛开
　　朋友哟，那是来自理想灯塔的指引的光

　　Mid-winter in a weary world,
　　A bright child was born.
　　Aioros his namehe the augur of air,
　　Wise wielder of wind.
　　Mere mortal nowmagnificence hid
　　So sweet and small.

　　In Sanctuary he grew soaringly
　　Sweet slender sapling
　　Becomes the birch blazing bright
　　White pillar of the world
　　Like Yggdrasil of yonder days
　　Watcher of the well of wisdom.

　　Benevolent kingbrave and bold!
　　Forever faithful and true!
　　His clear brow carries the crown
　　His worthiness had won.
　　In Sanctuary seat of sagacity,
　　He was Ring-breaker.

　　Long would his loving lordship last!
　　But in Sanctuary shadows stirred.
　　Treachery tore the torrid night
　　Who should stay this siege?
　　Who rang his sword rode into the fray?
　　Only our radiant Ring-breaker

　　He was the hallowed halcyon
　　Who stilled the stormy sea.
　　He was the Holy Heliand
　　Who salvaged the sinking sun.

　　Sing now, ye sweet-tongued skald
　　Of his sorrowful saga.
　　Lest why he laid low his life
　　Be lost to licentious lies.

　　他是闪耀的太平鸟
　　驯服了狂怒的海
　　他是神圣的救赎者
　　捞起了沉沦的太阳

　　为他歌唱吧巧舌的诗人们
　　为他的传说歌唱
　　莫让他的热血
　　在谎言中埋葬

　　Night Lark---夜间的百灵鸟

　　That far and bygone night,
　　I saw no moon, nowhere a light.
　　In the deep, impregnable dark
　　I heard a lark.
　　A single undaunted lark,
　　A song so grave and stark;
　　In the night lonely crying,
　　In the dark bravely flying.

　　It’s the light of a pure soul’s eyes
　　Shining bright, stars in the sky;
　　It’s the sound of a brave soul’s words
　　Breaking the dark like a ringing sword.
　　But shadows loomed at our every turn,
　　How quickly the starlight did burn.
　　Pale white knives flashed ‘fore my eyes;
　　Upon shattered wings my brave lark did fly.

　　It’s the beat of a hero’s heart
　　That made my fears swiftly depart;
　　It’s the sweep of angel wings
　　That from the heaven of teardrop wrings.
　　That far and bygone night,
　　I saw an angel burning bright.
　　I heard his song ringing clear and strong;
　　I felt his embrace so full of grace.

　　那个远去的夜里
　　没有星月光芒。
　　在深深的黑暗中，
　　我听见了一只百灵鸟。
　　孤单无畏的百灵鸟，
　　沉重的苍凉的歌；
　　在夜里孤独地吟唱，
　　在黑暗中勇敢地飞翔。

　　纯洁的灵魂的眼睛在闪耀，
　　明亮一如天空中的星；
　　无畏的灵魂的歌声在回响，
　　粉碎黑暗一如出鞘的剑。
　　只是我的身前永远横着阴影；
　　星光在一夜间燃尽。
　　苍白的刀影掠过，
　　我的百灵鸟早已折了翅膀。

　　英雄的心脏仍在跳动，
　　让我忘了恐惧；
　　天使的翅膀轻轻划过，
　　让天堂也坠下了泪水。
　　那个远去的夜里，
　　我看见天使在燃烧。
　　我听见他的歌声
　　清亮的有力的歌声
　　我感到了他的怀抱
　　满载着神圣的温暖
