情诗原文:
Vivian,
You\'re a nighttime sky above me,
The rustling grass below;
You\'re two sides of the moon, you see -
One side darkened,
One aglow,
Both full to bursting with beauty
That I shall never know.
For I am but an old rowboat,
Adrift upon the sea;
I send a dozen hopeless notes
But the stars don\'t care
To hear my plea,
And ignore my plight within this boat
For they\'re too in love with thee.
I suppose they can\'t be blamed; tonight
The moon commands us all.
But I wish you\'d turn and set your sight
To my lost path
Before I fall,
Into this ocean\'s stormy night,
Once and for all
Once and for all.
