情诗原文:
Vivian. Vivian.
I\'ve never held a shooting star,
For stars can\'t be contained.
Nor have I cupped within my hand
A drop of crystal rain.
The pole star in the southern fields
Has never caught my eye;
As for the northern lights,
They might as well be myths and lies.
Some might think that it\'s a shame
To have never seen such light,
But I could live my whole life through
And never crave the sight.
For even if I\'ve seen the splendor
That I\'ve just described,
Not even that could match the light
That\'s captured in your eyes.
