　　Soaring food and fuel prices are the most excruciating form of inflation.

　　When wages do not keep up with prices, oficials with needy relatives find it even more tempting to extort money from the powerless. This infuriates those who are preyed on.
　　若工资怎么都跑不赢物价，从弱势群体那边榨取钱财对于那些有穷困亲戚的官员而言，则愈发难以抗拒。被吸血的人群则会愤愤不甘。
