1、第 1 章

　　我已经在神秘的城堡之中存在千年，
　　I have lived in a castle of mystery for a thousand years,
　　虽然大部分时间都在校长室中眺望黑湖宁静姣好的脸庞，
　　Though I spent most of my time in the principal\'s office looking out over black Lake\'s quiet, pretty face,
　　我也许一年只会在那些孩子们面前出现一次，
　　I might only show up in front of those kids once a year,

　　They gave themselves to the wizarding world.

　　They walk on the river of time,
　　不论是金发、棕发、黑发，
　　Whether their hair is blonde, brown, or black,
　　都逐渐变得苍白，
　　Is all getting pale,
　　再伟大的事业，
　　No matter how great a contribution it is,
　　在时间面前也只能褪去色彩。

　　Gryffindors will be timid.

　　Ten days, ten years, ten centuries,
　　四个学院都涌现出了不尽人才，
　　All four colleges have produced talented people,
　　我认识了很多有意思的孩子，
　　I met a lot of interesting kids,
　　弗利乌斯和米勒娃，
　　Fleus and Minerva,
　　都同时具备了智慧和勇气，
　　With both wisdom and courage,
　　西里斯和安多米达，
　　Sirius and Andromeda,
　　来自黑色却坚持自己的执着。
　　From the black but adhere to their own dedication.

　　在阿不思身边的时候，
　　When I was with Albus,
　　我总会觉得他来自斯莱特林，
　　I always thought he was from Slytherin,
　　永远把情绪内敛，以微笑会见他人。
　　He always keep your emotions to yourself and meet people with a s mile.
　　我也会好奇，
　　I wonder, too,
　　把汤姆.里德尔放到拉文克劳或格兰芬多，
　　If I put Tom Riddle in Ravenclaw or Gryffindor,
　　又会有怎样的故事？
　　What will be the story?

　　时间的河飞奔不止，
　　The river of time runs fast,
　　命运的轮旋转不停，
　　The wheel of fortune turns round and round,
　　巫师也有人相信上帝，
　　Some witches believe in God,
　　麻瓜也可以向梅林祈祷。
　　Muggles can also pray to Merlin.
　　无论你属于哪个学院，
　　No matter what house you belong to,
　　不要质疑，
　　Do not question,
　　遵从本心就好。
　　Just follow your heart.
