最近我多次出入图书馆，为的就是查证一些事情，而就在刚才这件事终于有了结果。
我想我有一个坏消息要带给你：
预言中的那个人诞生了。

老人缓缓地放下了手中的信件，上面墨绿色的字迹还没有干透，便被他投进了壁炉中摇曳着的火苗里，最后化为了灰烬。
没有人比他更清楚，这短短的几行字中，有的是一个灵魂怎样的哀鸣。
周围都安静了下来。只有壁炉中橘红色的火粉的爆裂声时不时在他耳边响起。
老人闭上眼，眼前浮现出了那半个世纪前的情景：
蓝色的火焰在他眼前摇动着，火苗忽地蹿高，又忽地消失，像是一个个狞笑着的怪物，拉着手，跳着无名的舞蹈。耳边响起了一个声音，轻轻地唱着一首他从未听过的歌谣，那歌声像是梦中的呓语一样细碎，如潮水般环绕着他，将他轻轻托起：
Dear demiurge, something has came into the world.
造物主啊，有什么诞生了
Her brown eyes are staring at you,
她的棕色的眼深深地望着你
Deeply and brightly.
深邃而明亮
Her soul,
被上天眷顾的
Which is blessed by God,
她的灵魂
Will take the moonlight
将会夺走月亮的光辉
And the heat of the sun away.
与太阳的炙热
Since she has endless desire and creativity,
因她有着无尽的渴望与创造力
The world will be held in her hand tightly.
世界将被她紧紧握在手心里

Do not be so worried.
请不要那么慌张
You have to do something

Which is extremely easy.
但那真的简单至极
Just tell her an old tale,
给她讲个古老的故事吧
Or crescent’s secret.
或者告诉她新月的秘密
She will take the secret as its pillow,

And fall asleep while hearing the story.

破碎的歌声在老人的耳朵里悄悄隐去，只留下了一室静默。
